FIREPRACTICE: Artist Mentorship

Tricky Hat Productions is offering a paid opportunity for an artist with lived experience of the asylum seeking and refugee process, to mentor in our artistic process and become part of our associate artists team.

Artist must have a minimum of 4 years professional experience, including collaborations with other artists and co-producing live performance.

This opportunity is for someone with the following artistic practice: director/theatre maker, musician, dance artist or a digital artist/filmmaker.

The mentorship will be over 7 days between October – November 2024 in Glasgow at Renfield Centre and CCA (dates & times listed below), and the fee is £1,540.

Saturday 26th October 2024 (11am – 4pm)
Wednesday 30th October 2024 (11am – 4pm)
Wednesday 6th November 2024 (11am – 4pm)
Wednesday 13th November 2024 (11am – 4pm)
Wednesday 20th November 2024 (11am – 4pm)
Friday 22nd November 2024 (10am – 5pm)
Saturday 23rd November 2024 (10am – 9pm)

We want to mentor an artist in the “Tricky Hat way”, to widen our base of artists who can deliver our projects in the future. This is paid training that is about investing in the future of Tricky Hat Productions, and a commitment to the company. It is not a general CPD opportunity.
